The attack of 'The Entity' in 2373 left the orbital station, Deep Space Delta, heavily damaged and the Defiant Class support vessel, USS Dauntless, destroyed. Thousands of Federation and Starfleet personnel lost their lives as the energy being cut a swathe of destruction through the sector. It fed on the traumatic memories of humanoids within it's range and left Captain Thomas Halloway of the USS Hunter, comatose, before passing through the Deltan Wormhole into the Alpha Quadrant. A fleet of ships, lead by then Commodore Stephen Actual, apparently destroyed the Entity, but the event left the wormhole virtually impassable and the Fleet stranded in the F'asa Sector.
	The Ssoran war began in the aftermath of the Entity's attack. The Ssoran Hegemony, taking advantage of the chaos that ensued and the weakened state of Starfleet's forces, attacked an occupied the colony on New Terra. The occupation lasted for several months and any Starfleet personnel that had escaped the destruction of the station were rounded up and put in internment camps. However, Ssoran forces were eventually overcome when several of the camps were attacked and the prisoners freed.
	After the war with the Ssoran Hegemony the Federation began to regroup and rebuild. During the repair and upgrade of the station, then renamed 'Orbital Defense Station Delta II', the crew of the USS Shadow detected and tracked a Romulan vessel. When contact was made with the Cardassian, Saul G'hmet, the crew learned of a Romulan base where the Romulan forces planned to open a gateway to the Alpha Quadrant and where they had built a vessel that incorporated reverse engineered Borg technology. They successfully captured one of the Aehallh Class Warbirds and destroyed three others along with the Primarch Gate, but unfortunately, the RES Aexeus escaped with only minor damage.
	The Falcarian War has proven the most devastating event since the Federation first set foot in the Delta Quadrant. First Contact with the Falcarian Allegiance was made in 2375. Initially, interactions with the Falcarian people were amicable. The Confederacy allowed Starfleet to continue to operate in the F'asa sector on the proviso that a representative of the Falcarian Government serve on board every Starfleet vessel. In truth, this enabled the Falcarian's to ally with other hostile species in the sector and gather intelligence against Starfleet and the Federation. War is openly declared in 2377 when the Falcarian Allegiance attacked and destroyed ODSD II and the Ssoran Hegemony occupied the New Terra colony. The war has continued for over three years and the Federation has repeatedly been driven back to hidden bases and small colonies throughout the sector.
	Following the death of Narnian High King David, the 12 Kingdoms fell into civil war. The Dark Mane Society, supported by the Falcarian Allegiance, began to openly usurp the Royal Council of the 12 Kingdoms. However the uprising was swiftly put down when imprisoned crew of the USS Phantom discovered intelligence that proved a connection between the DMS and the Falcarian Allegiance. This lead the Narnian Royal Council to act against the Dark Mane Society and to outlaw it in the 12 Kingdoms.
